Construction

My house is a construction zone both inside and out.

Building the wall for the new bedroom.

The wall is up and the door hung. Next up, tiling the floor.

This is what my backyard looks like right now. Part of it does have gravel, but the kids can't go out and play.

Great fun watching the tractors.

Cards and teacher gifts

Here are a couple of cards I made this week. The large snowflake on the red card used to be a cheap, ugly metal ornament that came free in the mail with something. I painted it white, but brushed a lot of the paint off so you can see the silver under it. It looks so much better now.

I made these Post it note holders for Adam's kindergarten teacher and the teachers at the daycare. They are made from coasters, but I ran out, so there are only two done now. I made little fry boxes (Christmasy looking of course) for the students that work at the daycare and Julie. I will fill them with candy for a fun treat.

Adam and I made this turkey the other day. Adam thinks it is really cool.

Tag

I got lucky, my 4th photo folder and 4th photo happen to be taken from behind Adam so I can post the photo. We went bowling for Patrick's work's Junior Achievement fundraiser. It was at Fat Cats and they had a 70's theme. They were handing out tie dye beach balls, but Adam thought his was better as a hat. This is him playing one of the motorcycle arcade games.
I'd tag someone else, but I don't think anyone reads my blog.

Cell Phones

Adam and Eathan love playing with their cell phones. They have to stick them in their pockets to carry them around everywhere. They were playing with them this morning and unbeknownst to me, Adam put the phone in his pocket and left it there. Apparently Adam's kindergarten teacher asked him a question today and he pulled out his phone and said, "Let me call my mom and dad and see if they know the answer." The phone was confiscated and given to Patrick when school was over. Needless to say, Adam has lost phone priveleges for awhile.

New look!

I decided to give my blog a new look. Maybe now I will decide to post a bit more often. For anyone wondering about my new e-mail address and by blog title, remember the old saying, "Snips and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of." I have a house full of little boys, and that includes Patrick at times. I thought the frogs on the blog would be fitting for my boys. They seem to like bugs, frogs and dirt.
