Scrap night fun

I had a much needed scrap night with my friend Adele on Friday. I finished four layouts. Yay!
I created this layout for challenge 127 at CSI scrap blog. I solved the case by using the sketch and colors provided. My evidence is using bottle caps, string, a transportation image, and a pair of something. My testimony is not suspended on a string but has something suspended from it.

This one worked out well for the Peter Pan challenge over at Child's play.

This is just a simple layout with some old preschool stuff I found.
This one was a lot of fun to make and looks so fun.

More Child's Play

Vacationing at Grandma's with no kids is good for the scrappy mojo. I got two more layouts done for Child's Play Challenges.
The book challenge this month was Curious George. I was inspired by the yellow color of the books and the curiosity.

The next challenge was the craft challenge of origami. My boys love to make paper airplanes. We found out state capitol is a great place to fly them.
Paper used on this one is Teresa Collins Freestyle.

Back to scrappin'

Forgive the sideways picture. I'm lucky I figured out how to post from my phone and Kindle. This layout was for two challenges:  The November stack-a-holic challenge at DCWV and one of the classic toy challenge over at Child's Play Challenge blog.

Costume Cuties

I am finally finishing up last years Halloween photos.  This layout was done using the Sketchy Thursdays 10-6 sketch and the 1 hour challenge from Club CK to hand make embellishments.  I quilled the ghost, bat, and spider on the layout.
Here is the sketch I used:

Indians

A couple of years ago we had the kids make Indian vests and headdresses after Thanksgiving dinner.  It kept them entertained for awhile, and they looked cute wearing them.  This layout is based on the week 3 Sassy Lil Sketches sketch for September.
I turned it into a 2-pager.

Lots of scrappin'

I spent a great 6 hours at Adele's house last night scrappin' and talking.  I managed to get 3 single page layouts and a double page layout done.

Sketchy Thursdays partnered with ScrapFit this week for their layout challenge.  ScrapFit's workout prompt is F is for Friendship.  Here is the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays:
And here is my layout:
E always loved Todd from the day they met.  They were best buds and Todd was always very gentle with E.  The quote on the layout reads:  "Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only True Friends will leave footprints in your heart."

Sketch it To Me challenge

My friends from Club CK had a Sketch It To Me Blog Hop over the weekend.  Amanda created this sketch to be used:

I had more pictures to use, so I turned it into a 2-page layout.
